Mobile app cost guide
App development cost in India is quoted in wildly different ways because the word app covers everything from a three-screen utility to a delivery network. This guide shows what is actually being counted, so two quotes can be compared fairly.
CodingMarble builds Android, iOS, Flutter and React Native apps remotely from India. Three app sizes have fixed prices, set in USD and shown in your currency. Anything beyond them is scoped in writing before payment.
Small
Three screens on one platform, a clean interface matched to your brand, store listing preparation and 30 days of post-launch fixes, delivered in 21 days. Enough to test one idea properly.
Product
Five screens with sign-in by email, OTP, Google or Apple, push notifications, analytics and crash reporting. Cross-platform is available and store submission is handled, in 30 days.
Commerce
Catalogue, cart, payment SDK, wishlist, promo codes, loyalty points, order tracking with push updates and an admin dashboard for you, delivered in 45 days from an approved scope.
Cost drivers
Screens are the visible unit, but the backend is where most of the cost hides. An app that only displays information is light. An app with accounts, roles, payments, chat or live location needs a server, a database and an admin panel, and those are often more work than the app itself.
Platform is the next question. Native Android and native iOS are two codebases; Flutter and React Native share one. For most business apps a shared codebase lowers the build and the app maintenance cost without a visible loss in quality. Native is worth its price when the app leans heavily on the camera, sensors, Bluetooth or demanding graphics.
By app type
People ask for the cost to build an app like Zomato as if it were a single product. It is at least four: a customer app, a restaurant app, a rider app and an admin console, joined by live order tracking, payments and payouts. Food delivery app development is priced as a platform, never as a package, and any single figure quoted without a scope is a guess.
Most real briefs are far smaller. A booking app for a salon, a school app with notices and fees, a loyalty app for a cafe or an internal tool for a field team usually sits close to the Standard App. The guided brief asks what each user can do, and that list decides the size.
After launch
Publishing has its own costs, which you pay directly. Google and Apple each charge for a developer account, registered in your name so the listing belongs to you. If the app has a backend, there is server hosting. If it sends OTP messages or uses maps, those providers bill by usage.
Apps also age. Every year the stores raise their minimum OS requirements and an untouched app eventually stops being accepted for updates. The Basic App includes 30 days of fixes after launch. Beyond that, maintenance has no fixed package: it is quoted in writing, based on how much the app does and how often it changes.
What is covered
Two app quotes are only comparable when both answer these six questions. CodingMarble answers them in the written scope.
Every screen is listed by name, along with who can see it. A customer, a staff member and an admin are three sets of screens, not one.
Single platform or cross-platform with Flutter or React Native. Android app development cost and the iOS figure are the same within each fixed package.
Whether the app needs a server, a database and a dashboard to manage users and content. This is named separately because it changes the size most.
Email, OTP, Google or Apple sign-in, and push notifications. OTP messages are billed by the messaging provider to your account according to usage.
Payment SDKs, maps, chat or links to an existing website or CRM. Each integration is tested against your own provider credentials before release.
Store listing assets, submission and review replies are handled. Source code is handed over after final payment, and the developer accounts remain yours throughout.
Fixed packages
Prices are fixed in USD and shown in your own currency. The written quote confirms scope, delivery target and payment schedule before you pay.

Questions buyers ask
CodingMarble has three fixed prices: a Basic App at USD 480, a Standard App at USD 960 and an E-commerce App at USD 5,400, all displayed in your currency. Larger platforms with several user apps, live tracking or payouts are quoted individually in a written scope.
