Larger systems with several roles and queued jobs are built on Laravel, the principal PHP framework.
It is less suited to live features. Chat, tracking dashboards, collaborative editing and high-volume APIs are easier to build and cheaper to run on Node.js, and a marketing site that must feel instant is better served by Next.js.
